Take the 7-Day Anxiety Reset Challenge

Train Your Brain. Steady Yourself from Within.

Heart vs. Head

Experiences create the “repeated neural firing that can lead to gene expression, protein production, and changes in the regulation and structural connections in the brain.” (Dr. Daniel Siegel, 2010)   BUT the brain is not just housed in the skull.  We have these neural networks that deliver complex input from other areas of the body up to the skull.  The intestines and heart contain many of these neural maps that inform our brains.  So listening to the heart and the head is just good brain science.  What would be different in your life if you honored your gut and your heart as much as your logic?

To learn more about how to find brain-body balance, become familiar with thought patterns, and empower yourself to change what no longer serves you, consider reading New Beliefs, New Brain or signing up for some instructional classes at the Neurosculpting® Institute
