Meditation and Neuroplasticity Training May Help Reduce Stress and Stop the Cycle of Addiction by Patrick Bailey
Stress is a word many people throw around casually. Many do not realize its very…
Last year at NSI, I took on the role of Director of Facilitator Engagement. Admittedly, this was for purely selfish purposes. I wanted to feel more connected to the group of Certified Neurosculpting Facilitators. I knew there was a lot I could learn from them, plus they just seemed like a nice bunch of people. We didn’t have any formal way of staying in touch with each other, so I took it upon myself to create some community within our group of NS Facilitators.
Part of the initial phase of rolling this out was to get to individually know everyone. I did that by setting up a phone call with each facilitator. What a surprise! I had no idea when I began this what a wonderful and inspiring experience it would be.
Certified Neurosculpting Facilitators are a talented, wise, and heartfelt bunch. There is a wide variety of interests and specialties that facilitators bring to the table. We have coaches, acupuncturists, therapists, yoga instructors, midwives, and specialists in Native American issues. We have doctors, nurses, nutritionists, and functional medicine practitioners. We have hypnotherapists, traumatic brain injury specialists, and Reiki masters. We also have addictions and recovery specialists. There are also facilitators who specialize in trauma recovery, first responders, business leaders, and moms. Kids are another specialty of some of our facilitators, and even Shamanic practitioners. We have lawyers, photographers, corporate trainers, and equine therapists. I’m likely leaving out quite a few others.
As you can see, we run the gamut of how we bring Neurosculpting® into the lives of the people we work with. Because Neurosculpting® is based in neuroscience, it works for everyone in nearly every application and situation. If you’re looking to address a particular topic or circumstance, there is likely a facilitator that has personal experience in what you’re looking for and can address your particular issue.
Despite the variety of backgrounds, there’s one thing that all of the Certified Neurosculpting Facilitators have in common. We all have a deep understanding – from our own personal experience – of the power of neuroplasticity to shift perspectives and release limitations. We’ve all experienced the practicality and helpfulness of a Neurosculpting® practice. People who are drawn to teach Neurosculpting® are some of the kindest, most positive, understanding and encouraging people I’ve ever met. All of this is a testament to the benefits of a Neurosculpting® practice.
